We never install and we sell no brand, so the kit on your estimate is there for one reason: it suits your roof and the way you use power. These pages explain what each part does, how we choose it and what the installer’s quote should specify.
We have the technical specifications for the components available in the UK stored on our database, which is accessible to our team of experienced designers. We also hold augmented reality data files to provide photo-realistic representations of how these components would look in a customer’s property.
How we weigh it
Four rules for every part on your estimate.

The roof comes first
We read the pitch, orientation, usable area and shading from above before any kit is named. The panels, the inverter and the layout follow from the roof.

Sized, never oversold
An array for the house you have and the car or heat pump you’re planning, an inverter matched to that array and a battery matched to your evenings. Nothing bigger for the sake of it.

Priced both ways
Every estimate is priced with a battery and without one, side by side, with the payback shown both ways. The choice stays yours.

Manufacturers named on the quote
The quote names the make and model of every panel, inverter, battery and charger, and we check it line by line before it reaches you. The manufacturers on these pages are ones we see on quotes. We sell none of them.
