Warranties and aftercare
We chase every certificate, the grid notification and your export payments until each is done, and keep all the paperwork on one file, so when something isn’t right there is one number to call.
Warranties and aftercare
A solar system carries more than one warranty. Each covers something different, and each comes with its own paperwork. We keep them together, and when something isn’t right, we’re the first call.
We know who fitted it, what they promised and who to chase. Contact us
Call us first
A fault can sit with a panel, the inverter, the battery or the work itself, and each is covered by a different warranty, with a different company behind it. You shouldn’t have to work out which before you pick up the phone.
Tell us what you’re seeing. We check it against the paperwork we hold, work out whose warranty it falls under and chase the right company. If the installer has stopped trading, the insurance-backed guarantee keeps the workmanship warranty good, and we know where to take it.
Support and aftercare
After you say yes
From the introduction to the last certificate. Sign-off itself is three jobs (03, 04 and 05), and we chase each until it’s done.
One installer, their quote already checked against the market, with the survey notes and photos already on file.
Grid approval first, if the system needs it. Then scaffold, array, inverter, and a battery if you chose one. We keep in touch with the installer throughout.
The certificates for the system and its electrical work are issued. We chase until they are in your hands.
Your DNO, the company that runs your local grid, is told about the system. Small systems are usually notified after connection; larger ones need approval first.
MCS certification makes the system eligible for Smart Export Guarantee payments, at a rate each supplier sets. We chase the application until it is done.

Warranties and aftercare · questions
The insurance-backed guarantee keeps the workmanship warranty good. Every installer we introduce must have one, and we confirm the insurer and the cover in writing first.
Yes. Applying for them is one of the three things sign-off covers, and we chase until it is done. The rate is set by each supplier, and it varies.
It depends on the layer and the manufacturer. The batteries we price carry a ten-year manufacturer’s warranty; panel and inverter terms vary by manufacturer, and the quote must name each one. We keep every document together, so the answer is one call away.
Not yet. Production monitoring is planned for a later phase.
